Here is a version of one of my favorite motifs. I started it last week and completed it today. It's a view looking south down River Road south of Salinas. (it still has some dirt in the left corner of the sky)

Most of my work has been in watercolor, but I switched to oils a few years ago and then got into plein air painting. I retired from my day job in social work in 2006 and now I paint every day.
