More New Work

Here are the rest of the surfing pictures. The guy with the red car is called "You Da Bomb" and it's a cut-out on 1/4 inch hardboard. The truck with the arm hanging out is called "Morning Surf Check". The three cars parked by the ocean is called "Surfing at Edgars", and the woody by the sea is called "Passing Rains". I will probably have a couple more to post very soon. I don't think that all of these will make it into the Alvarado show, but I will keep painting to get my best there.

New work

This is a selection of the paintings that will be at the Alvarado Gallery this summer. The guy carrying the board is my step son Nate. I call the picture "Old School" because that's his vibe. The guy on the bike is a cut-out that I call "Lost Generation" because it features a grizzled old guy with a young head. The colorful cut out is called :Late Takeoff". The guy standing by the car is called "Afternoon Call" and the surfer riding the wave is called " Evening Tip Ride" It's a large painting at 60 x 48.
